As a performance yacht designed for the charter market, Silent Partner II  is a new, sprightly C&C 52' sloop. Her custom interior reflects owners Gary and Laurie Rainthorpe's long association with yachting, and their desire to create an elegant, responsive and fun charter yacht.

Silent Partner II  features lots of room for up to One Couple. There is a Master Queen berth Suite forward with ensuite head and shower. 
 
Captain Gary and Chef Mate Laurie have a separate crew cabin aft.

Guests are offered the comforts of a double cockpit arrangement on deck, with the midship cockpit neatly protected by the dodgers for dining and snacks, and the large aft cockpit for sailing and easy access to the water from the stair-step transom.

Gary and Chef Laurie Rainthorpe

Laurie & Gary are Canadians that have migrated to the Caribbean looking to leave the cold north to their friends.

Chef/First Mate Laurie has a professional background owning and operating an accounting practice for 15 years. Her passion for sailing came as a child sailing with her family. She is a past Commodore of Fairport Yacht Club. In her tenure as an executive she planned and catered many social functions. A graduate of Canadian Power Squadron student and is fully competent in the operation of both large sail and power boats. She is also a certified PADI open water scuba diver.

Captain Gary has a professional background in Human Resource Management. Most recently Director of Human Resources of the Toronto Hospital. He has been in the boating community all his life helping his father with the family marina and building boats as a pastime. He is certified by the Canadian Yachting Association, a delivery skipper, a past Commodore, a certified NAUI scuba diver and a member of the local racing fraternity. He has spent the last couple of years at Wiggers Custom Yachts as Project Manager on the building of Silent Partner II .
