Rob Fortune and Annie Reynaud
Over the last twenty years, Captain Rob Fortune's professional experience has included
boat design and construction, maintenance, repair and marine operations. He is USCG
licensed for ocean vessels and has logged over 50,000 sea miles. Rob has personally sailed
Maranatha to ports of Asia, the Pacific, Central America, the Caribbean, the Atlantic and
Nova Scotia.
During the winter seasons he charters out of Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin
Islands. Regular charters include sailing the British and American Virgin Islands as well
as some of the more exotic, hard to reach ports of the Caribbean not usually traveled.
From mid-May through late September, Maranatha is available for charter out of Boston,
Massachusetts.
Rob personally attends to every detail on board Maranatha, assuring that his strict
standards for efficiency, maintenance and service are met.
Maranathas crew are professionally trained with years of
experience and together will take you to the ends of the earth in the manner you are
accustomed.
A professional chef with outstanding charter experience ensures excellent dining aboard Maranatha. Her assistance while sailing, and her miracles in the galley, will make your charter truly enjoyable. Annie has been on both sides of her profession: 7 years of being a live aboard sailor, and 9 years of serving the marine industry. It has given her a discerning view of what it takes to keep a boat afloat and people happy. That knowledge coupled with her
experience as a chef has given her an intuitive ability to provide you with outstanding service.
Annie sailed to ST Thomas in 1989 from Detroit, stopping and cruising thru the eastern seaboard, Bahamas, Caribbean Islands as far as Venezuela. Settling in St Thomas she became the manager of the Marine Warehouse in Crown Bay. Besides cooking and traveling, her other interests include sketching, sculpture, watercolors, gardening and sailing. She is a gracious host and will create an environment which will make you feel right at home.
