Each room has stereo, television and air conditioning. Amenities include a rich audio and video library. Telephones and fax are available for direct link anywhere in the world.

Her three beautifully appointed staterooms can host 2-8 guests. Each stateroom offers en suite shower and private head. The starboard stateroom has a Jacuzzi tub. The forward cabin can either be used as a double or four single beds. Windsurfing, snorkeling and scuba diving are offered.

Captain Michael Hallett is the owner of the yacht and he is assisted by Sandie Merriman as chef. Captain Mike is originally from Chicago. He came to the Caribbean in 1969 and bought La Buscadora in 1972. He has been hosting charter guests for over 23 years, and has one of the most impressive satisfaction records. He is also a certified PADI diving instructor and holds a 100 ton Ocean Operator Captains license.

Michael Hallett & Sandie Merriman

Sandie's culinary skills are extraordinary. She is a graduate of Leiths Culinary School of London and originally comes from Hampshire, England. Sandie has been entertaining and cooking for guests aboard charter yachts since 1988 from Gibraltar to Newport to Grenada. Her zest for fun and adventure, along with her skills in the galley, make her a perfect member of La Buscadora crew.

Captain Mike is very proud of his 23 years of experience as a captain in the Caribbean with a perfect Record for Safety. He also has been Certified Dive Instructor for 24 years: after hundreds of students and thousands of dives his love of the sport and attention to safety has never diminished. Mike's love of all water sports is probably best shown through his infinite patience during instruction and participation. Mike wants everyone to enjoy themselves as much as he does!
