Richard Oswald is the owner/skipper of Emily Morgan. Thirty five years old and British, he first lived and worked in London before going to work on a Caribbean charter yacht in 1985. Since then he has spent ten years based ashore in Ibiza, running charter yachts in the summer and competing his IOR race boat.

During the winters he has taught history at the Ibiza international school, joined the crew of the 250' motor yacht, Leander, delivered yachts to the West Indies and built boats.

Having just spent a first successful charter season in the Balearics with his new love, the Emily Morgan, he has brought her out to the Caribbean. They had an entertaining time during the summer, chartering as the Radio 1 hospitality yacht for a week, hosting wedding parties and featuring in Bergdorf Goodman's new catalogue.
